YCS Spring Auction & Benefit
The YCS Spring Auction & Benefit returns on Saturday, May 2 with this year’s theme: STUDIO 151
For one night only, the YCS cafeteria will transform into a Studio 54-inspired party for an adults-only evening of music, food, drinks, and community. This event is one of the PTA’s largest fundraisers of the year and supports important programs and resources for our school.
Early bird tickets can be purchased here.
We are currently seeking:
Auction donations – experiences, tickets, services, vacation stays, or unique items
Neighborhood business connections – food, beverage, or sponsorship donations
Volunteers – help us design and transform the space for the event

MARCH 23–MARCH 27: This is our easiest fundraiser yet. Download the Double Good Popcorn app at the link below. Choose one of two screenings: 1–3PM or 4–6PM
Entry is free and includes a bag of popcorn
Blankets and comfy clothes encouraged
You MUST RSVP by 3/18
This event is NOT drop-off. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the entire move.
International Fest

What to expect:
Interactive country tables: Travel the world and collect stamps
International food potluck
Student performances
Represent your heritage in our world parade (wear it or wave it!)
How to participate:
Host a country or culture table
Contribute a dish to the potluck
Prepare a cultural performance (song, dance, etc.)
Volunteer for setup, check-in, or cleanup
$5 for kids | $10 for adults

Movie Night
UPDATE: Due to the threat of winter weather the Movie Night planned for this Sunday, January 25 has been cancelled!
The PTA is excited to be hosting our annual "MOVIE NIGHT AT YCS". This year's film will be Zootopia.
Entry is free and each YCS student will get one free bag of popcorn! Children must be accompanied by an adult, who stays at the school for the duration of the film. We will be watching the film in the cafeteria, so come in comfy clothes (your child can ever wear their favorite pajamas) and bring a sleeping bag or blanket if you want to get extra cozy.
There will be two showings of the film. First showing will be at 1:00pm and the second will be at 4:00pm. Information will be sent home in your child's green folder later this week.
