Asphalt Green: Asphalt Green will be providing our school with our Physical Education Partnership (PEP) program. The program increases physical activity, promotes positive social behavior, and builds a foundation of sports-specific skills.Classes will walk to Asphalt Green to engage in outdoor activity, throughout the school year. On inclement weather days, classes will be held in our Main Hall.
Ruppert Playground Planting Program: Parks and Recreation has proclaimed Ruppert Park as Yorkville Community School’s park to beautify. Our children and families planted daffodil bulbs the first week of November and then in April, the children will plant seedlings in the same spot – that they will begin to nurture in the classrooms prior to the planting date.
