YCS Chess Team Has Strong Showing in NYC State Girls Tourney
This weekend was the first ever all-girls NY State chess tournament and our 3 YCS girls did great!! Keira Dow and Deya Brodbeck as a 2 person team came in 10th in the U600 section (which is even more impressive than it sounds because the top 3 players’ scores count in each team), and Emily Dow came in 9th overall (as an individual) in the U900 section. Go YCS!!!
