Half Day Program Options for Parent Teacher Conference Day 11/3
 As Thursday is a half day, there are a number of special afternoon programs being offered by our After School enrichment programs:

– Chess Fun Tournament Day: Chess play and instruction threaded through the day with other fun activities like outdoor sports play, art projects, pizza lunch and ice cream! The fun starts right after school in the cafeteria and pick up is at 5:00. Here is the link to register. Please use coupon code “rtaxman10” to save 10%.

– Wingspan: Ice Skating: Wingspan will be picking up from school and going on an ice skating adventure in Bryant Park. For further information and to register click here.

Schoolwide Read-a-Thon is coming!

Check your home folders this week for information on this exciting event! Kids read for fun outside of school hours and invite friends and family to support their reading efforts with an online donation. They earn prizes, compete for a class pizza party, and help YCS raise money for critical in-class enrichment programs!

Election Day Bake Sale

Do your civic duty for the USA and YCS by volunteering to bake or sell items during our Election Day bake sale! You can sign up HERE, and please don’t forget to enter the items you plan to bring or bake in the comments section.

Thank You YCS Fall Festival Volunteers and Underwriters

Thank you to everyone who made this weekend’s YCS Fall Festival such a big success! It was wonderful to see so many members of our community at the event. We are thrilled to report that the event exceeded our financial forecasts, which will help us to continue funding of the enrichment programs that our central to our school.
