Y.C.S. Cares Coat Drive

Give the Gift of Warmth this Winter! November 28th – December 21st, 2011

Have you ever wondered how many New Yorkers each winter have to choose between putting food on the table or purchasing a coat?  Help New York Cares make this winter season a little warmer by participating in the YCS Coat Drive.

Please donate your new or gently used coats.  Items may be dropped off at morning arrival or afternoon dismissal and placed in the large cartons in both the YCS East and West lobbies.   Thank you for your support!

Y.C.S. Children Collect Towels and Sheets for NYC ASPCA

Yorkville Community School students and families helped to collect old sheets, towels and blankets for New York City’s ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) located at 424 East 92nd Street.  The donated items will help to to keep the kennels clean and give the animals something warm and soft to sleep on.  Click on the ASPCA icon above to see the wonderful thank you card sent to YCS students and families.
